As a mother of 13, I want to share a little of what I’ve learned over the years about bringing children to Mass.

Every week, Walt and I would take our crew, and yes, they were well-behaved, but babies do cry.

If one of our little ones was too fussy, I'd slip out to the crying room.

One Sunday, Fr. Comeskey approached us after Mass and said, "Next week, sit up in the front pew."

I admit, I felt a bit panicked...imagine our big family right at the front <gasp>

But the following Sunday, we sat in the third pew on the left.

I was astonished to see how captivated my children were!

We often forget that from their height, all they see are the backs of other people!

But here, they could see the altar, the priest, the Eucharist…everything.

Then, at the consecration, one of my toddlers pointed and cried, 'Jesus!'

I was mortified at first, but then, I realized...my child recognized the Real Presence in a way we adults might overlook.

Didn't Jesus say, "Let the little children come to Me?"

Our Church isn’t just a building... it’s the Body of Christ, meant to welcome every soul, young and old.

If you’re a parent wondering whether to bring your little ones to Mass, take heart.

    Bring them.

    Let them see Jesus.

Let them grow up in His presence.

    It’s where they belong!♥️

---Some of the many wee ones we've helped---

    ---HELP IF YOU CAN----

Here is a post, from a recipient of what we do,.

L**** and I were one of the precipitants of This mission. She is right. My parking was 9 per day for 3 months. Then on top of that food cost me approximately 15 per day. That was cheap - I got vouchers for $5.00 per meal. So somedays I did not eat or made meals last for more then one meal. Had to. Parking was $810. Food was $1,300. Then you have normal household bills and I have 3 animals I had to pay to have people come and take care of them. At first I had my dog in the Kennel for 1/2 the time. That was about 500. It is VERY expensive to have a sick child. That was Just ONE hospital stay. We have had numerous ones. Some only a few days, some a week or two. Without their help we would of gone fully under!

From providing necessary funds to actually having families stay with us...we DO what we say we do!
