Tonight, my heart is especially tender

    Dear friends,

Tonight, my heart is especially tender.

As a mother of 13, I’ve kept many watches—by cribs, by hospital beds, through sleepless nights of worry, prayer, and whispered pleas to Heaven.

But none of them compare to the watch Our Blessed Mother kept that Holy Thursday night.

    She knew.

She felt it in her soul—that her Son, her precious Jesus, was entering into the darkest hour of His life.

And like any mother, she didn’t sleep.

    She couldn’t sleep.

As He knelt in the Garden, sweating blood and carrying the crushing weight of our sins, she was spiritually there...keeping watch with Him.

    Loving Him.

    Suffering with Him.

Tonight, I find myself keeping watch with her.

For the children I’ve carried, the ones I still hold in my arms, and the ones I now carry in prayer.

Some of you are mothers grieving over children who have strayed...

Some are mothers hoping for healing, for answers, for strength just to get through the next hour.

Some of us are simply weary from the long road of motherhood and all the crosses it carries.

    But tonight, we’re not alone.

We keep watch with the Mother who understands every tear.

And with the Savior who chose to suffer so we’d never suffer alone.

Let’s sit in the silence of the Garden tonight.

Let’s comfort Jesus with our prayers.

Let’s unite our motherly hearts to Mary’s... and find peace in knowing that love like theirs never forgets us.

Holy Thursday blessings to each of you, dear friends.

Let us not grow weary in keeping watch.
    🙏

Sending our love and prayers to our remnant family...Wendy, Walt and the entire Cukierski family

    ---HELP IF YOU CAN----

Here is a post, from a recipient of what we do,.

L**** and I were one of the precipitants of This mission. She is right. My parking was 9 per day for 3 months. Then on top of that food cost me approximately 15 per day. That was cheap - I got vouchers for $5.00 per meal. So somedays I did not eat or made meals last for more then one meal. Had to. Parking was $810. Food was $1,300. Then you have normal household bills and I have 3 animals I had to pay to have people come and take care of them. At first I had my dog in the Kennel for 1/2 the time. That was about 500. It is VERY expensive to have a sick child. That was Just ONE hospital stay. We have had numerous ones. Some only a few days, some a week or two. Without their help we would of gone fully under!

From providing necessary funds to actually having families stay with us...we DO what we say we do!
