Essiac Tea Formula
Essiac Tea Formula
Sixteen years ago, my heart broke as a dear friend of many years shared the devastating news—she had been diagnosed with cancer.
The grief was overwhelming. Having lost my mother to this merciless disease, I felt a familiar ache return, along with an urgency to do something.
I searched tirelessly, pouring over every option, every remedy, every possibility, until a trusted Naturopathic Doctor friend introduced me to Essiac Tea. There were so many options—tinctures, capsules, 4-blend, 8-blend. I was confused and uncertain. But my friend gently guided me, urging me to focus on the 8-blend, assuring me of its purity and effectiveness.
So what is a Naturopathic Doctor?
They are primary care providers. They are trained and licensed to diagnose and treat conditions and diseases. They can also provide adjunctive treatment for cancer in collaboration with your medical doctor.
And so began a journey of hope.
With faith, prayer, and the support of her medical treatments, my friend used this tea as a complementary approach. Sixteen years later, she is still alive, vibrant, and thriving—a testimony to the grace of God and the healing found in His creation.
This experience strengthened my belief that the Creator has placed remedies in nature to support and sustain us.
Let this be an invitation to those seeking comfort, hope, and natural support alongside their journey of healing. As I did for my dear friend, I extend this product to you, always rooted in faith and gratitude.

The Origins of Essiac Tea
Essiac Tea has its roots in traditional Native American medicine, specifically among the Ojibway people, who used herbal remedies to address various health concerns. This herbal formula gained wider recognition in the early 1920s, thanks to a Canadian nurse named Rene Caisse, after whom the tea is named ("Essiac" is "Caisse" spelled backward).
Rene Caisse first encountered Essiac when a patient at her hospital shared her remarkable story. The patient, who had been diagnosed with cancer, revealed she had been using a traditional Ojibway herbal remedy given to her by a medicine man. To Rene's amazement, the patient claimed that her cancer had regressed significantly after using the tea.
Intrigued, Rene Caisse began working with the original four-herb formula, which included burdock root, slippery elm bark, sheep sorrel, and Indian rhubarb root. These herbs were known in traditional medicine for their detoxifying, anti-inflammatory, and immune-supportive properties. She experimented with the tea as an alternative treatment for cancer patients and other illnesses.
While some individuals reported notable improvements in their health, the results varied, and not all cases were successful. This inconsistency prompted Rene Caisse to refine and study the formula further. Over time, Essiac Tea has continued to be used and studied by individuals seeking natural support for their health, often as a complementary approach to conventional treatments.
The Science Behind the Formula: Why Our Essiac Stands Out
When it comes to herbal remedies, not all formulas are created equal. The original four-herb formula, often attributed to Rene Caisse, was a groundbreaking start—but it wasn't the most effective option according to her later research. Over time, through rigorous experimentation and refinement, the eight-herb formula emerged as the superior choice.
This enhanced formula offers a more comprehensive approach to wellness, combining the synergistic benefits of additional herbs for maximum potency and effectiveness. Like many innovations, the evolution of Essiac reflects the pursuit of improvement: the original version was a stepping stone to something even better.
By choosing our Essiac, you’re investing in the most advanced and powerful version available, supported by tradition and enhanced by progress. Trust the formula that delivers superior results, grounded in both history and science.
