- Thank you for being a part of our mission and for supporting to those who need it the most.
If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?

Reflecting on my own childhood experiences...
We have been assisting families facing not only a sick (or terminally ill) child, but also facing numerous challenges, such as food insecurity, unexpected job loss, and the fear of eviction.
Many of these families are enduring tough times, trying to navigate through many hardships.
Reflecting on my own childhood experiences, I know firsthand what it feels like to go through unexpected difficulties when an illness struck our family. These memories have fueled my passion for supporting those who are currently enduring similar struggles.
Let us continue to extend a helping hand to those who need it the most.
Thank you for being a part of our mission and for standing alongside us in bringing hope and support to those who need it the most.
Here is a post, from a recipient of what we do...
L**** and I were one of the precipitants of This mission. She is right. My parking was 9 per day for 3 months. Then on top of that food cost me approximately 15 per day. That was cheap - I got vouchers for $5.00 per meal.
So somedays I did not eat or made meals last for more then one meal. Had to. Parking was $810. Food was $1,300. Then you have normal household bills and I have 3 animals I had to pay to have people come and take care of them.
At first I had my dog in the Kennel for 1/2 the time. That was about 500. It is VERY expensive to have a sick child. That was Just ONE hospital stay.
We have had numerous ones. Some only a few days, some a week or two. Without their help we would of gone fully under! From providing necessary funds to actually having families stay with us...we DO what we say we do!
I chose this painting...
I chose the painting "Freedom from Want," by Norman Rockwell, for our grocery card fundraiser because it portrays a scene of "family togetherness, peace, and plenty," showcasing the essence of what we aim to provide for the families we support.
My experience was far from the idyllic setting depicted in Rockwell's painting. However, it is precisely because of those hardships that I understand and empathize with the individuals and families we are assisting.
Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of those facing these many hardships, giving them the opportunity to experience a sense of security and peace.
Let us continue to extend a helping hand to those who need it the most.
Thank you for being a part of our mission and for standing alongside us in bringing hope and support to those who need it the most.
